1Our standard

These standards apply to the SoloSquare app on Google Play, the App Store, and the web at solosquare.app, run by SoloSquare App (Estonia). They are part of our Terms of Service and community rules.

SoloSquare has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Anyone who breaks these standards loses their account permanently, and we report them to the authorities.

2What’s prohibited

On SoloSquare, in plans, and at meetups, no one may:

  • Share, request, create, sell, or link to child sexual abuse material in any form, including photos, videos, drawings, text, and AI-generated or edited images.
  • Groom a child: build trust or a relationship with someone under 18 for sexual purposes, online or in person.
  • Sexualize anyone under 18, in words, images, or any other way.
  • Sextort a child: threaten or pressure a child to share sexual images or to do anything sexual, or for money.
  • Traffic, sell, or advertise a child for sex or any other exploitation.
  • Use SoloSquare to find, contact, or arrange to meet anyone under 18, or bring anyone under 18 into SoloSquare or its plans.

3Adults only

SoloSquare is for people 18 and older. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older when they sign up. When we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

4How to report

If a child is in danger, contact the police or local emergency services first. In the EU, call 112.

  • In the app: use Report on a profile, a chat message, or a plan. Reports are private: the person isn’t told who reported them.
  • By email: anyone, with or without an account, can write to [email protected] with the subject “Child safety”. Tell us where it is (a link, a profile name, or a clear description). You don’t need to give your name.

Please don’t download, screenshot, or forward abuse material, even to report it. Telling us where it is is enough.

You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline or to a hotline in your country through INHOPE.

5What we do

Our team puts child safety reports first. When we find CSAE on SoloSquare, we:

  • Remove the content.
  • Permanently ban the accounts involved.
  • Report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant law enforcement authorities, as the law requires.
  • Preserve the information the authorities need, as the law requires, and work with law enforcement on valid requests.
