Solo travel in Maldives
Atolls of private resort islands with superb diving and snorkelling. Resorts are expensive; local-island guesthouses cost far less but follow Islamic rules (no alcohol, bikini beaches only). Little nightlife. The easiest place to start is Thulusdhoo.
